
Emergency Relief for Afghan Families during the Winter Season, Ghazni Province
On Tuesday, 17 Jan 2023 the Shuhada Organization (SO) with the financial support of Partners Relief and Development implemented an emergency relief project in Barla village of Qarabagh district in Ghazni province and distributed cash for 85 vulnerable Afghan families who were in need of humanitarian support in the harsh winter.
Barla village is located in western part of Qarabagh district with around 24 km distance from the district center and 77km from the center of Ghazni province. It is bordered with Takhchi in western part, Daraye-Sher in eastern part, Moqor in southern part and Zardolo in northern part. The SO team in close coordination with Ghazni economy directorate representative and local authorities went to Berla village and did door to door survey and distributed the cash.
The Barla residents were very happy and thankful for the aid they received. They were requesting to SO and its Partners to continue their support to the most in need people of Afghanistan, especially in the current situation that the people are facing economic crises. The SO thank to its partners and donors for their eternal support.
