The directory board meeting of the Shuhada Organization was held on 23rd April 2025 with the presence of the head of the board Dr. Najibullah Arshad and members of the board Dr. Ibne Amin, Dr. Mohammad Naim Danish, Dr. Bakhtawar Farzana Danish, and Mr. Abdul Majid Majidi in the main office in Kabul. In this meeting, the activities of Mr. Mohammad Essa Batureyan was briefed to the board members and the other main office staff of the organization.

Mr. Batureyan reported his activities over the past three months since he was appointed as the acting General Executive Director. He began the activity reports with his meetings with SO donors and partners, and it was concluded that for creating a trustful environment with donors, he had meetings with each of them.  He also added that with cooperation of other members of SO have developed annual plan and reporting methods which can assist with annual appraisal of the personnel. Furthermore, he also reported on visiting the provincial offices – and its projects in Ghazni and Bamyan provinces by himself and head of the directory board and some of its members, submitting proposals for new projects, and connecting to new donors.

At the end of the board meeting, Mr. Arshad asked board members to present their views on the report and assess Mr. Batureyan’s activities based on the report and following that, all the board members agreed on the appointment of Mr. Batureyan to continue as the general executive of the organization. During the meeting, the head of the board also mentioned that activities of the general executive will remain under monitoring of the directory board.
