This year, as part of Shuhada Organization’s school construction initiative, a new building for Dasht-e-Safid Girls’ School in Kahmard District, Bamyan Province, is being built. The project’s physical work commenced on August 7, 2024, following the signing of an MoU with the Ministry of Education and the completion of the biding process under the supervision of a representative from the Ministry of Economy. The contract was awarded to Pamir Foladi Construction Company.
The building will feature six classrooms, two administrative offices, six latrines, an 80-meter-deep water well, a hand wash station, a waste disposal bins, and a volleyball court. The construction is being carried out with burned bricks and concrete, under the supervision of an assigned engineer from the Shuhada Organization, and is overseen by engineers from Bamyan’s Education department, ensuring it aligns with the pre-approved design plan.
