Job Responsibilities
The orphanage teacher responsible to improve the quality of educational services and adhere to organizational principles, to implement the following:
- Full adherence to the principles, internal regulations, and organizational values of the Shuhada Organization and the applicable laws of the country.
- Regular presence and readiness at the Nest according to work needs and administrative conditions.
- Cooperation in organizing and adjusting monthly, quarterly, and annual educational plans.
- Proper and healthy interaction with children and use of modern and effective teaching methods to enhance educational quality.
- Supervision of students’ moral, behavioral, personal hygiene, and environment status.
- Establishing communication and in-person follow-up with relevant schools to ensure proper academic conditions for children.
- Active participation in the Parent Council meetings of the relevant schools.
- Organizing supplementary academic and extracurricular programs, including educational, upbringing, and cultural activities as per the approved plan, and providing students’ necessities in terms of stationery and other educational essentials.
- Accept responsibility and seriously take care of administrative, educational, and service matters during the absence of the shelter in-charge.
- Assist in transferring sick children to health centers when needed.
- Perform additional duties if necessary and as determined by the relevant administration.
- Adhere to teamwork principles, coordinate with other colleagues, and regularly report to the responsible officer.
- Maintain the confidentiality of student information and administrative matters.
- Strive to improve individual capacity through internal and external training.
Employment conditions and qualifications:
- The candidate should be couple with the orphanage supervisor (Orphanage Supervisor – Home) announced separately
- Having Afghan citizenship and complying with the country’s applicable laws.
- Adherence to the principles and policies of the Shuhada Organization.
- Having at least an educational qualification in teacher training or a bachelor’s degree in related fields.
- At least two years of work experience in educational and training sectors.
- Possessing effective teaching skills and proficiency in the common languages of the country.
- Observing respect, appropriate interaction with colleagues and students, and adherence to the administrative principles and regulations of the institute and centers.
- Willingness to perform additional related duties as required by the administration.
