Job Purpose
The Provincial Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating, managing, and monitoring the activities of Shuhada Organization at the provincial level, ensuring that health, administrative, financial, human resources, and other organizational activities are implemented and reported in accordance with the Organization’s plans, policies, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor the implementation of the Organization’s activities and projects at the provincial level.
- Prepare, follow up, and monitor provincial work plans and ensure timely implementation of activities.
- Coordinate and monitor the activities of Shuhada clinics in Daikundi and other relevant provinces.
- Coordination, provision of health advice, and follow-up of technical health matters at the provincial level and other health facilities of Shuhada Organization.
- Collect, review, organize, and submit of health project reports and register relevant information in Ministry of Public Health databases and reporting systems.
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of health information and reports.
- Identify health-related needs and cooperate in the procurement of medicines, medical supplies, equipment, and other required health items.
- Collect and organize financial information and prepare and submit monthly and other required financial reports.
- Prepare and submit administrative reports and follow up on attendance, leave, and other administrative matters.
- Collect and submit HR-related information and reports and follow up on staff attendance, leave, and personnel matters.
- Assist with recruitment and other HR activities in accordance with the Organization’s policies and procedures.
- Coordinate financial, administrative, HR, and procurement matters with relevant departments at the central office.
- Follow up on procurement needs specifically necessary medicines and ensure proper use and maintenance of organizational assets and equipment.
- Maintain effective working relationships with the Provincial Public Health Directorate, Ministry of Public Health, government authorities, NGOs, health institutions, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, annual, and other required provincial reports.
- Perform any other relevant duties assigned by the Organization’s leadership.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in one of the health-related fields.
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience in health, project coordination, management, administration, or a related field.
- Previous experience with NGOs in Health Project
- Familiarity with Ministry of Public Health reporting systems and databases.
- Ability to prepare and manage health, financial, administrative, and HR reports.
- Good computer skills, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong coordination, management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in Dari and knowledge of English
- Familiarity with the working environment and context of Daikundi Province is an advantage.
- High level of responsibility, integrity, confidentiality, and teamwork.
